AutoSoft's Finance Assistant™ Integration Eliminates Contract ErrorsWest Middlesex, Penn. February 1, 2004 - AutoSoft International, a leading Dealership Management System provider, announced today the plans for integration with Chrysler Financial's AutOrigination contract verification program. Chrysler Financial, a DaimlerChrysler Services North America LLC business unit, has deployed the finance industry's most comprehensive contract verification system ‘AutOrigination' to more than 3,000 Chrysler, Jeep® and Dodge dealers in the U.S. AutOrigination is a revolutionary new way to validate retail customer contracts and lease agreements at the point-of-sale. The AutOrigination program was designed by Chrysler Financial to meet the specific needs of Chrysler Group dealers.
AutoSoft's Finance Assistant™ integration with AutOrigination performs more than 100 points of contract validation to ensure a customer's contract is accurate at the point of sale. In addition, this integration will decrease the overall time it takes for a dealer to complete a contract and minimize the time a retail customer spends at the dealership. AutOrigination is in the process of being enhanced to operate through the Web, significantly improving system response time froma few minutes to just a few seconds. “AutOrigination provides our dealer body with an innovative and convenient process to eliminate contract errors resulting in millions of dollars in savings annually,” said Paul Knauss, Vice President Chrysler Financial for DaimlerChrysler Services North America.
“Chrysler Financial provides more than just financing, with AutOrigination dealers receive a cost-effective, quick and easy way to process retail customer contracts, both improving processing efficiency and customer satisfaction across the country,” said Knauss.
The Web conversion process is currently underway and both AutoSoft and Chrysler Financial projects will be completed during the first quarter of 2004. By eliminating contract errors and reducing contract in-transit time, AutOrigination becomes yet another Chrysler Financial innovation that joins a suite of industry leasing point-of-sale systems.
