AutoSoft Adds Four New Integration Points for GM Parts Workbench

WEST MIDDLESEX, PA, February 18, 2009 – DMS provider AutoSoft International announced today the addition of four additional integration points for GM Parts Workbench and completion of its deployment of GM Parts Workbench to its GM dealership customers.

GM Parts Workbench is a web-based General Motors communications and parts ordering interface between dealers and the factory. It replaced GM Remote Automated Parts Input for Dealers (RAPID).

AutoSoft, an endorsed GM Integrated Dealer Management System (IDMS) provider, also announced that is has now also completed the roll out of its complete GM Parts Workbench integration solution to all GM dealers using the AutoSoft dealer management system.

New GM Parts Workbench integration points announced today by AutoSoft are: integration of Parts Availability; Parts Information; Materials Return and Claims; and invoice details and summary functionality to its GM Parts Workbench solution. AutoSoft rolled out phase one of GM Parts Workbench last fall, Parts Ordering.

AutoSoft, the third largest dealer management system provider, was the first endorsed IDMS provider to complete the Parts WorkBench Deployment.

Details of these four new integration points are:

• Parts Availability: Visibility into GM’s Parts Distribution Centers’ parts inventory, parts availability status and parts costs.
• Parts Information: Real-time updates on new parts information and updates, supplementing data supplied through GM’s monthly parts tapes.
• Material Returns and Claims: Build a return order and submit electronically to GM.
• Invoice Details: Weekly invoice and associated costs details; monthly invoice and association costs details; and, monthly summaries showing receive rate, return and reserve rates and more.
