AutoSoft Announces CRM Module

Low Cost ‘Traffic COP’ from AutoSoft International
Enforces Sales, Service and Parts Follow Up with Accountability

WEST MIDDLESEX, PA, January 27th, 2009 –AutoSoft International today announced the release of AutoSoft Traffic COP, an affordable, uncomplicated, no-contract tool to manage and automate CRM efforts in the dealership, designed exclusively for the AutoSoft DMS.

AutoSoft Traffic COP enforces the control and accountability necessary to manage all sales opportunities from any source -- the showroom floor, service drive, phone-ups, advertising media, and online leads across all departments of the dealership. Whether in sales, service or parts, opportunities are presented with highly visible management oversight. It seamlessly integrates with the AutoSoft DMS.

As a desking tool, AutoSoft Traffic COP empowers salespersons and managers to e-pencil deals quickly and thoroughly, sending them directly and seamlessly to AutoSoft Finance Assistant or Supreme Software’s DealerTracker, to complete the sale.

AutoSoft Traffic COP gives dealers and their managers complete and deep transparency into every opportunity -- customer by customer, deal by deal, service need by service need, follow up by follow up, day by day.

“I’ve worked with a number of CRM tools before, but Traffic COP gets right to the meat and potatoes of how to add profit to the bottom line,” notes Curtis Watson, Business Manager, Jack Burford Chevrolet, Richmond, KY, who has been using the tool since last fall. “It takes the facts funnels them quickly into a deal without all the unnecessary flash.”

AutoSoft Traffic COP has been in development since late 2007 and has been designed and fine-tuned with the input of a number of AutoSoft DMS dealers, several who use competitive CRM tools in their dealerships, and pilot tested by several AutoSoft customer dealerships since last July.

“This business-generating solution now provides AutoSoft DMS users the ability to manage all vehicle sales, service and parts customer relationships, across all departments, in a unified CRM solution, which still adheres to the AutoSoft simple, easy-to-use product reputation,” said Charlie Prophet, AutoSoft COO. “We believe AutoSoft Traffic COP will get used, even by the least computer-oriented users, and our customers will achieve improved profitability and customer satisfaction.”

This is apparently so, dealers using the system say. “I have a 58-year-old salesman who hates computers, but says COP’s simple Windows-type tabs and drop-down screens format is so simple he loves using it,” notes Bobby Grubbs, dealer principal, Grubbs Chevrolet, Woodstock, VA. “And as the owner, I use it every day – sometimes remotely from home – to keep an eye on everyone’s activity…we’ve been able to re-capture deals because it ensures the proper prospect follow up processes.”

Traffic COP users cite several key features that deliver performance above other CRM tools they’ve used prior, including:

• Accountability: It provides deep insight into sales personnel call activities to ensure proper follow-up, deal completion and compliance to the sales process.
• Telephony integration: It enables dealers to track effectiveness of phone-up sources and identifies callers already in the DMS so they can be greeted quickly by name with pertinent customer information displayed on-screen.
• Service integration: Alerts sales personnel the day prior when their customers are scheduled for service so the customer can be greeted by the sales person upon arrival in the service drive to strengthen the customer relationship.

“With its basic approach to managing customers through sales and service, Traffic COP leaves us no room for mediocrity,” Watson says. “It pushes mediocrity to the side of the road so our road to better sales is more successful.”
